Head to app.tradeworkstation.com/signup to create your free account. You can sign up with your email or use Google/GitHub OAuth for faster onboarding.

Once registered, you'll be guided through a quick onboarding flow that helps us understand your trading style, preferred instruments, and goals. This information personalizes your dashboard and analytics experience.

No credit card is required. No trial period. The full journal and analytics suite is free forever. Only the backtesting engine and trade copier require a Pro subscription ($4.99/mo).

During onboarding, you'll configure your first trading account. You can choose to manually enter trades or connect to a supported broker for automatic synchronization.

You'll set your base currency, preferred timezone, default risk parameters, and daily/weekly loss limits. These settings can always be changed later from the Settings page.

The onboarding wizard walks you through: 1) Creating your first account, 2) Choosing your sync method (manual or auto), 3) Setting risk parameters, 4) Customizing your dashboard layout.

Once onboarding is complete, you'll land on your personalized Home Dashboard — your central command center for everything trading.

The app uses a sidebar navigation on the left. The sidebar contains links to all major sections: Home, Journal, Accounts, Strategies, KPI Builder, Psychology, Demon Hunter, Diary, Wellness, Backtesting, Trade Copier, Prop Firms, Explore, and Settings.

The top bar shows your current account context, sync status indicator, notification bell, and quick-add trade button. You can switch between accounts using the account selector dropdown.

Use the global search (Cmd/Ctrl + K) to quickly navigate to any page, find trades, or search your journal notes. The search indexes all your trade data, tags, notes, and diary entries.

The app is fully responsive — use it on desktop, tablet, or mobile. The sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu on smaller screens.

TradeWorkstation supports keyboard shortcuts for power users. Press '?' anywhere in the app to see the full shortcut reference.

Common shortcuts include: Cmd/Ctrl+K (global search), Cmd/Ctrl+N (new trade), Cmd/Ctrl+J (open journal), Cmd/Ctrl+D (open dashboard), and Escape (close modals).

Navigate between accounts with Cmd/Ctrl+1 through Cmd/Ctrl+9. Switch between journal views with Tab key. Use arrow keys to navigate trade lists.
